Please meet the summer 2019 staff!

Lindsay Powers
Lindsay has been working with kids all her life. She has taught at the Bertschi School and the Seattle Hebrew Academy. She is a yoga student, loves to dance, and play sports and games of all kinds. She earned her Masters in Teaching from UW and her black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Music and Movement is her pride and joy and she is excited to be expanding her crew.

Liz Granzow - confirmed for 2019!
From flipping in the aerial silks off the ceiling of the Civic Theatre to winning the silver medal in national acrobatics, gymnastics- Liz knows how to please a crowd! Elizabeth Faith Granzow, aka Frenchie Faith, most recently hails from the magical city of New Orleans where she performs as an aerialist, acrobat, dancer, and actress (sometimes all at the same time!). Liz received her Bachelor’s from the University of California at Berkeley and is currently pursuing her Masters in Speech Language Pathology. She has dedicated her personal and professional life to performance art and education as a vehicle for social change. Liz is delighted to be joining the Music and Movement Team this summer and intends to honor superhero Cyndi Lauper with great gusto and enthusiasm!

Dillon Sturtevant
Dillon has worked at afterschool programs and camps on the East and West coasts, and has taught guitar lessons. He is a touring musician and songwriter who loves having the chance to combine his love for education and music during the summer at Music & Movement. Check out his local bands Tomtem and John Dillon!
Teianna Chenkovich
Teianna is a dance and anthropology student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She started taking dance classes when she was two, loved it, and has been moving non-stop ever since, jumping into every style from Ballet to
Jamaican. She is active in university’s dance community as a choreographer and performer in the Koshare Dance Collective, the Junior Senior Dance Concert, and the Faculty Dance Concert. Her work has been shown at both 2014 and 2015 Koshare, the 2014 Mariners Dance Night, 2013 Dance and Child Conference, and 2012 Girl Fest. She is excited to spend this summer in her hometown dancing, playing, and creating with
Music and Movement.

Michelle Nichols
Michelle began dancing at the age of three at Conservatory of Dance in Yucaipa, California. From there she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern. She first began teaching in 2010, and has taught not only dance, but gymnastics and color guard as well. She attended Riverside City College and participated actively as a dancer, choreographer, and student director in the dance program. She is now in the process of receiving her BA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in order to pursue her love of teaching, creating, and performing.
